Who we are

Graduating from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln in 2016 with a major in Hospitality, Restaurant, and Tourism Management, Nathan has spent his time working for hospitality companies such as Marriott, Hilton, and even Disney.

Throughout his time working in hotels, and banquets in specific, Nathan spent quite a bit of time in and around the kitchens and noticed a similar trend of food waste due to food going bad quickly. Often times this waste was due to the produce being shipped in refrigerated trucks so the lifespan of the produce was already diminished by the time it was delivered.

Founded in 2020 while standing on the top of a hill overlooking his family farm, Nathan decided to establish Pfeifer Pfresh as a way to grow produce that would be delivered to hotels and restaurants as fresh as possible, by delivering it the day that it is harvested.

Starting out with Microgreens as an experiment, Pfeifer Pfresh now provides PFRESH microgreens to local restaurants and hotels in both the Lincoln and Omaha Metros.
